Health And Science Academic Reporting Agreements

Each class at HS2 develops 5-7 learning targets per grading period (trimester).With these targets, we will assess each student using a proficiency-based 4-point system with the points equating to:

Level	Description
One	On scale with knowledge-level learning tafgets. Performance at this level indicates an emerging level of understanding a complex body of knowledge or concept.
Two	More detailed level of understanding of knowledge and facts, but not fully proficient in the learning target concepts and skills.
Three	Meets the learning target.
Four	Exceeds the learning target.

Students who can demonstrate their mastery of this target on a continued and consistent basis, will receive a "3" or “4” in the assessment system. With 5-7 targets in each class overall, teachers will compile these scores and assign traditional letter grades as follows:
