Beaverton School District Community Budget Teaching Sessions Update**BUDGET TEACHING SESSIONS** have been completed in all 51 Beaverton schools. Budget Teaching Session Presentation with video Budget Teaching Session Summary The Beaverton School District expects to make at least $40 million in reductions to its budget for the 2012-2013 school year. In March, all schools will be conducting evening Budget Teaching Sessions for parents and the community. In all, including staff sessions, more than 100 sessions will be completed before spring break. The purpose of the Budget Teaching Sessions is to provide up-to-date budget information, collect advisory input from participants and answer questions. There will also be a hands-on prioritization activity. Feedback will be used by the District's Budget Planning Team to build the 2012-13 budget. |
