Greenway Elementary School Earns National Title I Distinguished School Honor
Beaverton's Greenway Elementary School is setting the standard for Oregon.
Deputy Superintendent Rob Saxton announced Greenway Elementary School as one of two Oregon schools named 2012 National Title I Distinguished Schools under the federal Title I Distinguished Schools Program. The school was recognized for making significant progress in closing the achievement gap of its low-income and Latino students. The school eliminated the gap for fifth-grade Latino students in math.
