Greenway Elementary School Earns National Title I Distinguished School HonorBeaverton's Greenway Elementary School is setting the standard for Oregon. Deputy Superintendent Rob Saxton announced Greenway Elementary School as one of two Oregon schools named 2012 National Title I Distinguished Schools under the federal Title I Distinguished Schools Program. The school was recognized for making significant progress in closing the achievement gap of its low-income and Latino students. The school eliminated the gap for fifth-grade Latino students in math.
