Current Substitutes
Welcome to the Substitutes page for the Beaverton School District. Whether you are a licensed substitute or a classified substitute, you may use this page to access all of the important information you will need for your position. We appreciate the work you do every day with the students of the Beaverton School District.

Yearly Requirements for Substitutes
Each year you will need to preregister during the summer preregistration window. Current substitutes will receive a letter in late May or early June with detailed instructions. These include the required trainings and videos that must be completed every year. By preregistering each year, you are certifying that you have completed the required items. All items are accessible using the links on this page.If you have any questions, please call the SubFinder help desk (503-591-4340) or Human Resources.

Badges for Licensed Substitutes
Current 2011-2013 Substitute Badges will expire June of 2013. Badges do not need to be turned in unless your employment status changes (hired, resign, etc). If you have a substitute badge from any previous year please submit them to the Public Safety Office via interdistrict mail, mail or dropped off at the Public Safety Office located at 16550 SW Merlo Road.
Are you a newly hired Substitute?
Pictures are taken Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Public Safety Office. Badges will be printed and ready for pickup two weeks after your picture is taken at Main Reception, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Please bring ID when you pickup your badge.
Note: Please enter through Main Reception for pictures and all badge transactions.

Update for 2011-12 Substitute Hiring -January 19, 2012

Thank you for your interest in being considered as a licensed substitute for the Beaverton School District. At this time, we will be closing our licensed substitute posting (L#6000). Our substitute needs this year have been extremely limited. If the need arises, we will re-post the position. (There will be no need to reapply if you have already applied.)

Please note, we are still accepting applications for classified substitutes.
