This booklet is designed to provide parents with information about Beaverton School District's TAG Services, as well as the Oregon Talented and Gifted Education Act.

Subjects covered in this booklet include:

• The identification process for TAG students
• Instructional services available to TAG students,
• Roles of TAG parents, teachers and support staff
• Resources available to TAG parents

We believe talented and gifted students exist in all racial, ethnic and socioeconomic groups, and in both genders. We are committed to identifying these students and providing appropriate educational programs and services to help them maximize their potential.
