Welcome to Southridge High School!

Thank you for taking time to visit one of the finest high schools in the United States. Established in 1999, Southridge is the newest of five comprehensive high schools in the Beaverton School District. With a focus on academic rigor, school involvement, and relationships with the community, Southridge continues to "Lead the Way" in all areas in and out of the classroom.

We are privileged to be a member of the International Baccalaureate Organization. We continue to out score our counterparts throughout the world in all subject area exams. Whether students complete the full IB Diploma candidate program or only take a few IB classes to enrich their high school experience, we individually plan with students to meet their needs. In addition to our IB program, we also emphasize study in one of seven Career Academies where students can earn endorsements in an area of specialization. When students leave Southridge after four years it is important to us that they are young independent thinkers who are academically prepared to compete with their worldwide counterparts and that they understand the importance of giving back to their community. State-of-the-art science and technology labs, a performing arts center, and fitness complex enables us to offer 23 pathways within the Academies.

Exceptional student achievement is developed through academic rigor and a personalized programming through a Mapped Academic Plan and Profile. Extremely high participation in co-curricular as well as extra-curricular activities is also encouraged. With state championships in baseball, women's basketball, and softball, Southridge has already established itself as a strong contender in state athletics.
