West TV Mission:
We are a collaborative learning community that works together to educate, motivate, and enrich the lives of our students.



West TV Focus for 2009-2010:

• Maintain a strong focus on literacy best practices and be certain that all children are readers and writers. Emphasize early literacy skills and provide systematic intervention when necessary.
• Continue to work effectively as instructional teams to analyze assessment data and improve our instructional practices.
• Improve individual student growth and achievement on state and district performance assessments.
• The continued development of student skills in socialization, emotional development and responsible behavior to enhance the positive school environment through a positive and proactive approach.
• A commitment to community communication and involvement.
  


West TV's Site Council and Staff will develop and refine specific school improvement goals based on our on school's mission and focus.
