DELIGHTING QUALITIES

    To begin with, here are three qualities about the Taj Mahal: The Islamic tomb, has the most spectacular view you will ever see in your life. One of the unique things about the Taj Mahal is its peaceful environment. It's special because, it is made of the finest workmanship ever done in India.

GREAT STRUCTURE

    The structure of this building is taller than a twenty story skyscraper. It took about 20,000 workers twenty two years to build the Taj Mahal, and finally it is made out of the finest and costliest marble.

RICH HISTORY

    Most importantly the Taj Mahal was built because Mughal emperor Shah Jhan, promised his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, he would build something to show and honor her beauty. As soon as the as this tomb was built, Shah Jahan chopped of every workers hand, because he didn't want them to build anything else as beautiful as the Taj. The son of Shah Jhan and Mumtaz Mahal who was named Aurangzeb, arrested his father after the Taj was built. Shah Jhan said, "Go ahead and arrest me but you have to put me where I can see the Taj Mahal". He had said that so he could see and be with a memory of his wife. After long years passed, Shah Jhan died in the jail wondering about the Taj Mahal. After his death Shah Jhan was buried next to his wife in the Taj.
