Announcements for Advisory Feb. 9th


SPIRIT

Sign-up for the Dodgeball Tournament Feb. 24. It's the 1st 12 teams of 8-10 players who sign up and pay $20 per team. Sign-ups are in Bellis' office. Proceeds go to charity.

Southridge Choirs present The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean at Movie Night, this Friday, at 7 pm and 9 pm. $3 dollar donation at the door with $1 concessions. Don't miss out.

If you are a junior and plan to run for office next year, see Mrs. Bellis this week.

Bring your old clothes in for the Clothing Drive this month to your Advisory. Clothes go to The Beaverton Clothes Closet to help needy Beaverton students. The contest ends Feb. 24. A Slurpee party for the winning Advisory. Mr. Traeger's advisory has brought in 8 bags so far.

Cram the Cage is next Thursday. Pre-order your shirts at lunches for $5. Proceeds go to The MS Society. There will be lots of entertainment, raffles and prizes including Prom tickets and Blazer Tickets.

If you have any cute/fun school appropriate pictures of you hanging out with other Southridge friends please email them in Jpeg form to srhsyearbook@gmail.com for a chance to have them put in the yearbook. Due no later than Feb. 16.

Anyone interested in being in Yearbook or Newspaper next year needs to get an application from Mrs. Shurson in Enlightenment at her desk or in E113. Applications due Feb. 15.

Girl's basketball vs Sunset here tonight & at Westview on Friday.

Wrestling is tomorrow night at Beaverton starting at 4:15 pm.

Boy's B-ball is here Friday vs WHS. Wear red. The most spirited lunch table will win a free pizza on Friday. That's spirited RED.

Good Luck swimmers at district at T-hills Friday and Saturday starting @ 3 pm both days.

Good luck to Cheerleaders at State on Saturday @ the Memorial Coliseum – 12 noon. Will you be the next Southridge Idol? Sign up for auditions in Bellis' office. . Auditions are after school on March 2nd. Idol Finals will be March 31.

Good Luck to Hawkettes at their dance competition on Saturday at Tigard High School at 11:30 am.

Congrats to our Speech and Debate team for their success at the Linfield College Tournament this weekend. There were 35 teams, totaling nearly 500 competitors.
