Overview of Career Academies

Career Academy Senior Projects tie together all the coursework and career related learning experiences a student has experienced throughout their time in high school. The projects offer an opportunity to demonstrate the learning achieved in a manner uniquely meaningful to the student.

Senior Projects are required for all Career Academy endorsements. While developing a project, the student will...

research and study an area of interest
apply information gathered to a project of a student's own design
write and reflect on the experience
demonstrate skills developed in the four years of high school
make connections with community members and take the learning beyond the walls of Southridge
