Site Council

The Southridge Site Council is comprised of parents, teachers, classified staff, a community member, a student member, and the principal. New members are selected by their respective groups and serve rotating terms of service. The site council is responsible primarily for implementing the Oregon Education Act for the 21st Century, to enhance student achievement and to provide an opportunity for greater staff and community participation in the life and function of the school.. The Site Council will work to create and update a school improvement plan that does the following:
- Improves the institutional program for students
- Improves professional growth and career opportunities for staff
- Address other school curriculum specifics as needed
