Springville K-8 School
Local School Committee

Local School Committee (LSC) members meet monthly with the principal. A
major role is making determinations about building use by the public.
Other roles include advising regarding building and safety issues. LSC
members are also a link between the district and the immediate community
regarding concerns.  

Three LSC members are elected for a two-year term.  The last election
occurred May 19, 2009, and the following Springville residents (who are
also Springville parents) were elected to the Springville LSC:

The Springville LSC meets monthly, generally on third Wednesdays at 4:15
pm.  Meeting dates are listed on the website calendar.  Usual agendas will
include review of minutes of the previous month, old business, new
building use requests, safety or facility impact concerns or updates, and
other items related to LSC work.  Meeting minutes are posted on the
website.
