Are you interested in helping shape our community’s financial future? The Beaverton School District is seeking dedicated community members to serve on our Budget Committee.

About the Committee:
The Budget Committee reviews and provides input on the proposed annual budget, ensuring that public funds are used effectively and responsibly. Committee members play a key role in representing community priorities and maintaining transparency in the budgeting process.

Who Can Apply:

  • Must be a resident of the district in the zone in which you are applying, registered voter, and can not be an employee of the district.

  • Individuals with an interest in public service, finance, and community development are encouraged to apply.

Term Length: 3 years
Meeting Schedule: Evenings starting in March
Application Deadline: January 19, 2026

Every year, the School Board adopts a budget that aligns the district's resources with the objectives outlined in the district's strategic plan.

Budget Committee

The Budget Committee reviews the district’s budget and may recommend changes. The committee holds public meetings in the evenings between March and June. It approves the budget for the coming school year and refers it to the School Board for adoption in June.
