The assignment of employees to positions in the various schools and departments of the district, the creation of new positions, the deletion of existing positions, the determination of position descriptions and changes thereto, the determination of duration and hours of work including the assignment of overtime, the location of work assignments and other matters related to direction of the workforce shall be determined by the superintendent or designee and as outlined in the respective collective bargaining agreements.
Requests for teacher transfer may be initiated by a teacher or by an administrator in accordance with the procedures and conditions outlined in the current collective bargaining agreement with teachers.
