The superintendent is authorized to approve the annual school calendar following due consideration of the negotiated agreements with employee groups and, when possible, to reflect views solicited from district patrons and all groups of employees. The calendar will include the number of student days and hours, number of workdays for staff and holidays. The calendar will meet state requirements.
