IGBI - English Language Learners Education
Students whose primary language is a language other than English will be provided access to grade level content and support to develop English Proficiency, in a manner that allows effective, relevant participation in regular classroom instruction.
Parents who are not able to use English in a manner that allows effective, relevant participation in educational planning for their student will be provided with relevant written, verbal or signed communication in a language they can understand.
The district will maintain a current Language Access Plan.
