School Board Members

Whereas, 28 years ago Oregon voters passed Measure 5 unintentionally reducing revenues to Oregon schools, a reduction that has yet to be reversed.

Whereas, reduced revenues have led to a shortened school year, larger class sizes, cuts to library, art, music and physical education classes, higher caseloads for special education teachers, counselors, school psychologists, social workers, and nurses, fewer resources and training for educators, and higher fees and reduced access to sports and after school activities.

The Beaverton School Board directs staff to implement the board-adopted district goal to "empower all students for post-high school success."
