Shelly Reggiani

Dr. Shelly Reggiani, Ed.D.

Dr. Shelly Reggiani serves as BSD's Associate Superintendent for Teaching & Learning. With over 30 years of experience in Oregon education, Dr. Reggiani is a passionate advocate for student success and staff development. Her career spans roles as a middle school teacher, school principal and central office administrator in the North Clackamas School District, as well as Senior Director for the Coalition of Oregon School Administrators.

Dr. Reggiani’s leadership has encompassed a wide range of areas, including federal title programs, bilingual education, community engagement, counseling and social services, inclusion and educational equity, talented and gifted services, principal development and professional communications. She has led impactful programs and training initiatives for educators and school leaders on topics such as educational equity, social-emotional well-being, executive school leadership, English language development, data-informed decision-making, literacy, culturally-specific student and family engagement, and civil rights in education.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Oregon State University and earned her Doctorate in Education from George Fox University. In recognition of her outstanding leadership, Dr. Reggiani received the 2020 National Women in School Leadership Award from the American Association of School Administrators (AASA).
