Budget Committee Vacancies
BSD has three vacancies on the Budget Committee. The Budget Committee reviews the district’s budget and may recommend changes. The committee holds public meetings in the evenings between March and June. They approve the budget for the coming school year and forward it to the BSD School Board for adoption in June.
Individuals interested in serving on the Budget Committee for a 3-year term must meet the following qualifications:
- Live in the zone that they wish to represent.
- Be a registered voter in the district.
- Cannot be a BSD employee.
Please know that School Board zones do not entirely match school attendance areas. Please consult this map to check your zone.
BSD is currently seeking Budget Committee candidates in the following zones:
- Zone 3: Term: June 30, 2024 to June 30, 2027
- Zone 5: Term: June 30, 2024 to June 30, 2027
- Zone 6: Term: June 30, 2024 to June 30, 2027
Budget Committee members are selected by the School Board.
Applications will be accepted between September 18 and November 15, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.
