Nomination Form
What is the BSD Achievers program?
BSD Achievers is an exciting new program that seeks to recognize the hard work and dedication of the BSD staff members. Each month, three honorees will be selected from nominations submitted by the students, parents/guardians, staff and Beaverton community members.
Who is eligible to be a BSD Achiever?
Anyone employed by the Beaverton School District can be nominated — teachers, paraeducators, bus drivers, nutrition service workers, custodians, office assistants, counselors, nurses, administrators... anyone! Winners may only be recognized once every two years.
(Members of the selection committee are not eligible to be selected as winners.)
Who selects BSD Achievers?
Each month, a committee made up of the Chief Human Resources Officer and Human Resources Executive Administrators will work to select the honorees from among all submitted nominations. They'll be looking to see which employees best exemplify our BSD Promise — Belong. Believe. Achieve.
How do I nominate a BSD Achiever?
To nominate a BSD Achiever, fill out the online form. You'll be asked to provide the nominee's name, position and work location, as well as why you feel the individual is worthy of recognition. Did a certain someone make a positive impact on your student? Or is someone's consistent hard work and dedication worthy of notice? Now's your chance to help them shine.
If your nominee isn't chosen for a specific month, don't worry. Your nomination will roll over to the next month and continue to be considered.
What happens when a BSD Achiever is selected?
Every month, district leaders will surprise the winners on the job and present them with the award.
We'll take plenty of photos and videos, which will be posted on the district's website and social media channels.
