Beaverton School District families may visit Clothes for Kids once a trimester during the school year, for a total of up to three visits. Our appointments windows are:
Please click the button to schedule your appointment through ParentSquare or call 503-356-4322. Appointments are per family, not per student.
Each appointment to shop for free clothes is up to one hour long. To keep on schedule, it's very important to be on time for your Clothes for Kids appointment. Please show up five minutes prior to the start of your appointment window. If you do not show up or cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, we cannot guarantee you will be able to receive a second appointment.
*Please note: Due to limited supply, we will be limiting families to one winter coat, per student, per school year.
Please come prepared with size information for each student. During the appointment, volunteers will be available to help you with your shopping needs. Clothes for Kids is a donation-based program that is intended as a supplemental resource. As such, the program may not be able to meet all of the needs of all students.
We appreciate donations of clean, school-appropriate, gently-used or new clothing and shoes. We only accept donations of new underwear and socks, and we are always in need. Visit our Amazon wishlist to purchase these items and have them shipped directly to Clothes for Kids.
Ongoing needs:
New underwear and socks for all ages and sizes
Pants for elementary-aged students, sizes 5-12
Coats for elementary-aged students, sizes 5-12
Department store shopping bags with handles
Our donation bins are located at 16550 SW Merlo Rd. at the District Support Center. They are accessible Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for holidays.
Please call the program coordinator at 503-356-4378 to schedule "lost and found" school drop-offs.
We accept financial contributions. Visit our website to make a monetary donation or mail a checks payable to Clothes for Kids to 1260 NW Waterhouse Ave, Beaverton, OR 97006.
*Please note: Clothing and shoe donations not suitable for our program may be sold to generate funds to purchase new socks, underwear and other needed items for BSD students.
Clothes for Kids doesn't exist without our dedicated volunteers! Interested volunteers need to first be approved through our volunteer management system. Once the volunteer application and background check are approved, volunteers can login to sign up for open shifts. Shifts are available on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays. Some volunteers help families with their shopping; other volunteers sort and hang donated items.
If you are already an approved district volunteer and are a community member, please visit our Community Groups webpage, enter your information at the top, click the box next to Clothes for Kids (list is alphabetical), scroll to the bottom and click submit.
