We hope you all enjoyed a safe and healthy winter break with your family and friends. We’re eager to welcome back students.
You’ve likely heard about the increased cases of respiratory illness — namely COVID-19, influenza and RSV — now that winter has settled in and more people are indoors. There are some simple precautions that you and your children can take:
- Emphasize frequent and thorough hand washing to your kids.
- Cover coughs and sneezes.
- Mask up, if your child opts to wear a mask.
- Keep up to date on COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.
Finally, if your child is experiencing symptoms described in our Too Sick for School Guidance, please keep them home to recover. We’ll be here to welcome them back when they feel better.
Thank you and be well.
