Beaverton Community-Wide Conversation Around Race Break-Out Session Proposal
Please complete this Course Proposal Form to express interest in presenting a break-out session at the Second Annual Beaverton Conversation Around Race to be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. We are unable to host this gathering in person, thus we are planning a virtual gathering from 4:00-6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 10th. Presenters will be notified by February 8, 2021, if their session proposal was accepted. This form is due by Friday, February 19, 2021. We are looking for affinity groups, schools, allies in this work, staff, and community partners to present one or two fifty-five minute break out sessions. The purpose of this event is to build a conversation around improving our collective and individual racial literacy with a focus on student voice.
