Medical and Dental Benefits
New hires (.5 or greater FTE) will receive a password to enroll in benefits through our benefits enrollment website in a New Hire Onboarding email. Benefit enrollment is due within 30 days of hire date to be effective the first of the month following receipt of the enrollment forms. For example, enrollment forms submitted by August 31 will be effective September 1.

Canopy - Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL benefit for our part-time and full-time employees that can assist you and your eligible family members with any personal problems, large or small.
Personal Consultation with an EAP Professional
10 visits per year and many more resources! Face to face, over the phone, or onlien counseling sessions for concerns such as:
- Marital conflict
- Conflict at work
- Depression
- Stress management
- Family relationships
- Anxiety
- Alcohol or drug abuse
- Grieving a loss
- Career development services

PERS (Public Employee Retirement System)
Beaverton School District currently deducts the 6% member contributions (on a pre-tax basis) from a PERS eligible member's pay. PERS eligible employees are usually considered eligible members after six full months of employment.
