The Beaverton School District is nationally recognized for high student achievement and innovative programs. Beaverton students in grades 6-12 have the opportunity to investigate the learning option that best fits their academic needs. Students can choose their neighborhood school, or one of Learning Option schools. Transportation is provided.​

General information about Learning Options schools: Students may only select one Learning Option school on their application. All applicants must reside within the Beaverton School District boundaries. Resident students not currently attending a Beaverton school will need to complete a paper application. Please give careful consideration to your choice of school. Once an application has been submitted, no changes will be allowed.​ Applications will be available Monday, October 19, 2020 for the 2021-22 school year. Applications must be received online, or in our office no later than Friday, December 11, 2020 at 4:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time).

How Do I Apply?

The application window for the 2021-22 school year will open Monday, October 19, 2020​.

How Do I Find Out More?

  • Ask your counselor, teacher or principal about your learning options.
  • Investigate your neighborhood middle school or high school.
  • Talk to other students who currently attend your neighborhood middle school/high school or the option school in which you are interested.
  • Plan a site visit or attend an Open House. *Due to Covid-19 these may be available virtually. Please contact the Learning Option school(s) of interest directly for more information.
