Middle School Boundary Workshop Maps

The following Boundary Workshop Maps (15 maps) created at the November 5 Advisory Committee meeting were prepared by the public who attended the meeting.  The maps were created by groups of 4-8 people at tables during an approximately 60 minute workshop.  The Advisory Committee members and staff visited the tables to observe the exercise, listen to the discussions, and answer questions.  Neither the Advisory Committee members nor staff directed the discussions or developed the recommendations of the table.  At the end of the workshop mapping exercise, each table presented the content of their discussion, recommendations, and maps to the full Advisory Committee.  Given the number of people who participated in the workshop exercise and the number of tables present in the Stoller MS cafeteria, not all tables had members of the public to create a map.  The 15 maps presented represent all of the maps that were created during the workshop exercise.  There are no maps that are missing.

The following 24 maps were created by the public who attended the November 21 Advisory Committee meeting.  The maps were created by groups of 6-12 people during an approximately 45 minute workshop.  The Advisory Committee members and staff visited the tables to observe the exercise, listen to the discussions, and answer questions.  Neither the Advisory Committee members nor staff directed the discussions or developed the recommendations of the table.  At the end of the workshop mapping exercise, randomly selected groups presented the content of their discussion, recommendations, and maps to the full Advisory Committee.  Those members of the public who did not present their maps were invited to submit their maps and written comments to staff to be made a part of the record for the Advisory Committee’s consideration.  The following 24 maps are the large format display maps that the public prepared.  The smaller 11”x17” maps prepared by the public at the November 21 meeting will be provided in a separate document.  All of the maps received by staff at the November 21 meeting have been made a part of the official record.
