Foreign Exchange Insurance Requirements
The Beaverton School District does not sponsor International Exchange programs. In order to be approved to place exchange students in our District, a Certificate of Insurance, Meeting the following requirements, must be provided and maintained while students are placed in our District.
Insurance Coverage:
General Liability – written on an occurrence basis with limits not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 in the aggregate, to include bodily injury, property damage and personal injury and shall name Beaverton School District as an additional insured. This insurance will be primary to any insurance the District may carry.
Additional Insured:
The District shall be named an additional insured on the general liability policy and shall be provided a copy of the additional insured endorsement. Blanket additional insured will not be accepted.

An updated Certificate of Insurance must be provided on or before the date it expires. If your Certificate expires at any time you have student(s) placed with the Beaverton School District, the agency will not be able to place students the following year.
