Student Accident Insurance

Beaverton School District insurance does not cover student injuries due to accidents at school or during school-sponsored activities, such as field trips.  The District provides parents with information on a voluntary accident insurance program provided through the third party, Myers-Stevens & Toohey & Co. Parents should consider this insurance option if their student is not covered by a family health or accident insurance plan.

Insurance coverage is required for all students participating in interscholastic sports. Students who cannot show proof of accident or health coverage, may purchase insurance from Myers-Stevens & Toohey & Co. If participating in tackle football, Interscholastic Tackle Football Accident Plan (grades 9-12) is required. All other interscholastic sports participants may purchase either the Student Accident & Sickness Plan or Full-Time 24/7 Accident Plan

Optional accident insurance and sports coverage can be obtained directly from Myers-Stevens & Toohey & Co., Inc.  Click on the "enroll" tab, then select the correct District, School, and Grade to find coverages, costs and be able to purchase insurance coverage.

If you have questions about the insurance offered, have purchased Student Accident & Health Insurance and need to file a claim, contact Myers-Stevens & Toohey & Co., Inc. at (800) 827-4695.
