Intro to Business
This course will serve as an overview to the various business courses offered at Southridge as well as current events in the business world today. The curriculum will address the basics of marketing, management, accounting, and entrepreneurship. Also studied will be the attributes of the successful business leader.

Marketing I
This course is a study of how a product or service is conceived to the point it is utilized by the consumer. Students will be exposed to the fundamentals of: marketing, communications, economics, market segmentation, product decisions from innovation to production and packaging, pricing strategies, promotion decisions from advertising to personal selling, and placement decisions.

Business Law
This course is designed to acquaint students with the basic legal environment of business. Students will examine contracts, ethics, employment law, consumer protection laws, and legal affairs affecting property ownership. The goal of this course is to contribute to students’ legal knowledge as it relates to their roles as citizens, consumers, employees, and future business leaders.
