MS Summer Band Camp
Program Description
BSD Middle School Summer Band Camp is an opportunity for students to play fun music, make new friends, and become better musicians! Each day students will receive a one-hour group lesson from a professional musician on their instrument and two hours of full band rehearsal. Students perform a concert in the auditorium on the last day of camp. Students will also receive a camp t-shirt. This camp is supported by a Beaverton Education Foundation Kids Count Grant.
Who can attend?
BSD middle school students who will be entering 7th - 9th grade in the 2024-25 school year with at least 1 year of experience on their band instrument.
*Please Note: This is a band camp, we do not have string instructors on our staff.*
2024 Camp Dates/Times
Mondays -Thursdays 9am-12pm
July 15th - July 25th (7/15, 7/16, 7/17, 7/18, 7/22, 7/23, 7/124, 7/25)
*Concert on last day of camp 7/25 at 11:00am in the auditorium

Sunset High School
Transportation
Students will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the camp each day.

- $100 per student
- Scholarships available for families in need
*Fees will be charged through the district’s online payment system accessed through your Parent VUE account
Withdrawal and Refund Policy
All withdrawal requests must be emailed to Blake Allen, Visual and Performing Arts TOSA.
- Full refunds if withdrawn by one week prior to camp start date.
- A $50 fee will be charged for withdrawals after Friday, July 5th (week before camp starts)
- No refunds after the camp start date
