Statistics 2 Dual Credit Learning Targets
Math, Statistics 2 Dual Credit
ALT 1 - Sample Mean
Determines if a sample mean or the difference of sample means found from a data set is statistically significant in comparison to the population mean or the difference of population means by using a statistical comparison test.
ALT 2 - Sample Proportions
Determines if sample proportions or the difference of sample proportions found from a data set is statistically significant in comparison to the population proportion or the difference of population proportions by using a statistical comparison test.
ALT 3 - Sample Variance
Determines if sample variance (standard deviation) or the difference of sample variances (standard deviations) found from a data set is statistically significant in comparison to the population variance (standard deviation) or the difference of populations variations (standard deviations) by using a statistical comparison test.
ALT 4 - Value Y
Finds the correlation and the linear regression model from a data set and determines the predication interval about a value y’.
ALT 5 - Chi-Square
Uses the chi-square goodness of fit or chi-square test to determine statistical significance.
ALT 6 - One or More Means
Determines if one or more means differ significantly statistically.
ALT 7 - Nonparametric Statistics
Uses nonparametric statistics when the population from which the samples are selected is not normally distributed to test hypotheses.
