The Beaverton School District includes 34 elementary schools, nine middle schools, six high schools, five option schools, 19 option programs and two charter schools. We have more than 39,000 students and nearly 4,500 staff members.

The Beaverton School Board has seven elected community members who serve four-year terms. They are volunteers. Though candidates are nominated from the Board Zone they live in, voters in the District elect them at-large. Each Board member has several school assignments that may or may not be in their zone.

Preschool Promise

Preschool Promise is a free, full-day preschool program for students ages 3-5 at Elmonica Elementary School. Families must meet income eligibility requirements (200% below poverty level) and live in Washington County but do not have to live within the boundaries of Elmonica Elementary School.

To enroll, visit the Washington County Preschool Promise webpage. Click “Apply Online” and sign up for an account or print out the form on the website and return it to one of four drop boxes in Washington County. Families will be contacted by Washington County regarding enrollment. Placement is typically made in early July for the coming school year.
