Day 4
Welcome to Day 4!
READING
Watch and listen to the story called “The Big Umbrella” by Amy June Bates
Draw a picture of the story you just watched.
Read a book to an adult, grown-up or sibling in your home.
STORYTELLING & WRITING
Tell a story about a time you played with a friend at school. What did you do with that friend?
Take a picture and/or video & share it with your teacher.
PLAY
Spend time each day playing with your favorite things - will you play with dolls? Cars? Animals? Stuffies? Your sibling?
What and where will you play today?
Listen to this song composed by John Williams and draw a picture of what you think it sounds like, or what it reminds you of.
Create your own song to perform for others. It can include making sounds, instruments, and singing too.
Hide an item somewhere and create clues for someone else to find it. Each clue can have words for older kids (add rhyming phrases as a challenge) and pictures for younger ones.
Listen to the story Iggy Peck, Architect by Andrea Beaty. See how high of a tower you can stack out of something soft at home (like plastic cups) without having it fall over.
