Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy
The Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy is an award given in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. The award is available for all qualifying BSD students. The Seal is awarded to students that satisfy all of these requirements:
- Meet all Oregon HS Graduation Requirements (seniors only)
- Pass Essential Skills in Reading and Writing in English
- Demonstrate proficiency in a language other than English through one of these assessments:
- Advanced Placement (AP): 4
- International Baccalaureate
- Lang B SL: 4
- Lang B HL: 4
- Lang A SL: 4
- ACTFL: 7 or above on rubric scores
- STAMP 4S: 6 or above in all areas
- Willamette Promise: 74 or above
