Practice safe, legal and ethical working habits and shop management in the student-run school repair shop.

Learn from local businesses through internships, mentorship, workplace tours and job shadow opportunities.

Graduate with Automotive Service Excellence certifications for immediate entry into high wage jobs.

Students have the opportunity to earn 0.5 graduation requirement credit in Higher Education & Career Path Skills (HECPS) awarded in the advanced level course of the CTE program.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Site-based CTE programs provide students with hands-on learning experiences in specific career areas at their home high school. Programs focus on developing career-specific technical skills, professionalism, employability skills, and industry-recognized credentials, while offering opportunities to engage with local business and industry partners. These programs are available to students already enrolled at the BSD high school and are accessed through the standard course selection process.
