Students have the opportunity to earn 0.5 graduation requirement credit in Higher Education & Career Path Skills (HECPS) awarded in the advanced level course of the CTE program.

IN THIS PROGRAM, YOU'LL... 


 

  • Explore software and equipment needed to create, edit, produce and distribute media

  • Demonstrate project management to create projects that meet customer requirements

  • Learn and apply the principles of design as they apply to all media

  • Practice teamwork, communication, punctuality, and other professional work habits

 


 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Site-based CTE programs provide students with hands-on learning experiences in specific career areas at their home high school. Programs focus on developing career-specific technical skills, professionalism, employability skills, and industry-recognized credentials, while offering opportunities to engage with local business and industry partners. These programs are available to students already enrolled at the BSD high school and are accessed through the standard course selection process.
