Digital Marketing
Digital Marketing focuses on the development of effective marketing plans within a dynamic digital environment. Students will explore how to coordinate marketing initiatives across online and offline channels and between desktop and mobile audiences to show how various disciplines within digital marketing are interrelated. In addition to understanding the tools and techniques required to create a digital marketing plan, students both develop the skills to manage an online presence and put those skills into action. The focus of the class will be developing and implementing a holistic Internet and social media marketing strategy.

Sports and Event Marketing
Sports Marketing is an introduction to the intersection of sports, entertainment, business, and society through project management including product development, pricing, licensing, and sponsorship. Throughout the year, students study the elements of event marketing and project management through the development of a comprehensive marketing plan for an event or organization. Students also gain hands-on experience during the production of Week of Wishes, consisting of Swishes & Wishes and Jam the Dam.

Marketing Management
Marketing Management focuses on management and leadership skill development. Students will be required to apply their knowledge of management and leadership by planning, organizing and controlling activities for the student store, The Pond, BHS To-Go and BHS Spirit gear student-run enterprises. This course emphasizes the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and decision-making. A large part of this course is hands-on learning running the three companies. Through the curriculum and learning experiences, students will explore career fields of management, marketing, sales, human relations, accounting.

Marketing Seminar
Marketing Seminar is the capstone course for the Business & Marketing program, and it challenges students to demonstrate and display their mastery of skills and knowledge through DAMedia, a student-run marketing agency. In addition to their agency work with real clients, students focus on professional communication, leadership development, a career exploration, including multiple guest speakers, field trips, and building a functional portfolio of experience.
