Graphic explanation of FLEX Credit Program

What is the FLEX Credit Program?

FLEX Credit offers individual, online courses to students in grades 9-12 who are enrolled at least half-time in a BSD school.

Who is eligible to take a FLEX Credit course?

Our ODE High School Success Grant funding requires our students meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Need support to stay on track to graduate
  • Are at risk of not graduating due to credit deficiency
  • Wish to access college level coursework which does not fit into their schedule

Who can request a course?

Counselors or administrators determine if the student meets the HS Success Grant criteria and request a course for the student. Staff members, please visit our page on the staff intranet for our registration form and other staff information.

Which courses do we offer?

We offer courses to cover graduation requirements in core contents, Health, PE, and a few electives. For a full list of courses, please review our Course Catalog. If your student needs a course not on the list, please reach out to us. We may be able to offer it.

Is FLEX Credit the same as FLEX Online School?

No. FLEX Online School is an option school for students who want to attend online school full-time. If you'd like more information about FLEX Online School, please visit their website or email them at
