The Beaverton School District is the largest publically owned fleet in the State of Oregon, consisting of over 300 active school buses. We provide home to school service to approximately 28,000 students each day. In addition to our daily routes, we also provide service for academic field trips, athletic practices, games, and meets, extracurricular events, and afterschool programs. Our buses travel over 3,000,000 miles annually.
Approximately 270 Beaverton School Bus Drivers serve our students each day. Our drivers are some of the most highly trained, tested, and scrutinized drivers on the road. All of us in the Transporation Department are committed to safely and efficiently transporting the students of Beaverton to and from school each day.
Our dispatchers are the primary point of contact for our drivers for any issue while they are on the road. They advise drivers about road closures and other issues that occur in the course of transporting students.

They also develop and present continuing education courses for more experienced bus drivers.
