Family Geocaching Treasure Hunt
Calling all treasure hunters, explorers, and thrill-seekers!
Join us for an exciting adventure this summer at Tualatin Hills Nature Park with our Family Geocaching Treasure Hunt! Last year, 133 enthusiastic explorers meandered through the shady, forested trails, uncovering hidden treasures and collecting fantastic prizes. This year, it’s your turn to join in the fun! Watch your kids light up as they hone their navigational skills in a safe, playful environment. This activity runs now through August 25th, so plan ahead today and find time to escape to the forest as a family.
Tualatin Hills Nature Park, a beautiful oasis in the heart of Beaverton, offers over 200 acres of lush forest, wetlands, and meadows teeming with wildlife. It’s the perfect setting for families to reconnect with nature while embarking on an exciting treasure hunt. To make a day out of it, pack a picnic and invite some friends!
We’re proud to partner with Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District to bring you this unforgettable experience. Please be sure to leave the natural areas undisturbed and leave the caches well-hidden after you are done so that the next person can experience the joy of discovery. If you happen to find an empty cache, the Nature Center has extra prizes so that no one leaves empty-handed. Our goal is to keep families active and engaged this summer, enjoying the fantastic trails our city has to offer, and learning how to navigate using maps and GPS. Don’t miss out on the excitement—let’s make this summer one to remember. Happy hunting!
