State of Oregon Seal of Biliteracy

Seal of Biliteracy

The Oregon Seal of Biliteracy is given in recognition of students who have attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. In order to earn the Seal of Biliteracy, a student must have eligible scores on the STAMP Language Proficiency Test or AP National Exam. The more courses taken in Spanish, the more likely a student will earn the Seal of Biliteracy.

The Seal of Biliteracy takes the form of a gold seal that appears on the graduate's diploma. It also is indicated on their transcript and is a statement of accomplishment for college admissions and future employers.
