Project Lead the Way (PLTW) President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Vince Bertram, took a student-led tour of the Health and Science School (HS2) on Thursday, November 9, 2017.

Dr. Bertram visited classrooms and engaged in interactive discussions with students about the importance of Career & Technical Education.

Health and Science School is a nationally certified Project Lead the Way School in their Biomedical and Engineering programs. Because of this certification, HS2 offers students the ability to earn dual credit through the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT), as well as participate in internships and other hands-on experiences.

PLTW provides transformative learning experiences for K-12 students and teachers across the U.S. They create an engaging, hands-on classroom environment and empower students to develop in-demand knowledge and skills they need to thrive. They also provide teachers with the training, resources, and support they need to engage students in real-world learning.
