October Community Partnership Team Breakfast
More than 200 community partners and school leaders met at Sunset Presbyterian Church on Thursday, October 19, 2017 for the first District-level Community Partnership Team meeting of the 2017-2018 school year. Superintendent Grotting and School Board Chair, Anne Bryan, opened the meeting. Deputy Superintendent Steve Phillips and Career Technical Education Coordinator, Janine Weir spoke about the importance of building and fostering strong community partnerships in Career & Technical Education programs. Megan Irwin, Administrator for Early Learning shared information on the development plan for the Early Learning Program in the Beaverton School District.
Following the presentations, teams had the opportunity to meet with each other to develop their visions and needs and discuss how community partners can empower all students to achieve post-high school success
