The Board recognizes the importance of establishing a comprehensive plan to guide the educational programming and operation of the district. Accordingly, the Board shall develop and approve a Strategic Plan that articulates the district’s goals, strategies and desired outcomes.

The Board shall ensure active participation in the planning process by Board members, administrators, teachers, other staff, students, parents, business leaders and other community members.

The superintendent shall be responsible for implementing the Strategic Plan, and the district shall use the plan in decision-making, resource allocation and program evaluation.

The Board shall review and update the Strategic Plan on a regular basis.
