READING
Choose a nonfiction book to read. Preview the book by reading the back, looking at the pictures. What do you think you might learn about the topic? Then, when you get to a new section of the book, ask yourself, “What might I learn in this section?” Write down a few predictions and read on.

WRITING
Today you will continue adding to your information writing draft. Information writers use specific details to teach about a topic, like numbers, colors, sizes, shapes, quotes. Read through your draft and find places where you can add specific details.
