Welcome to Day 8!
READING
Nonfiction readers figure out smaller ideas by pausing as they read to consider what each smaller section is mostly about. Choose a nonfiction book to read or continue with the one you have been reading.
As you read, pause at the end of a section and ask: “What was this part of the text mostly about?” Jot your thinking in your notebook.
WRITING
Today, write an ending that reminds readers of the main ideas and big topics you taught in your information writing.
MATH
Complete 1-2 lessons in DreamBox and today's problem:
Write three decimals that are in between .4 and .675? What was your strategy for figuring the numbers?
MOVEMENT

Create a chores bingo board and try to get bingo by helping out at home!
Look up and listen to a song that came out the year you were born.
Listen to the sounds that different animals make and write down three questions you have about sounds animals make.
Share your questions with a friend or family member.
