Choose a nonfiction book to read or continue with the one you have been reading. As you read, ask yourself these questions and jot the answers in your notebook.

WRITING
Writers pay attention to one thing as they edit- paragraphs. They make sure that every sentence inside a paragraph fits together.
Today, look back at the work you have done:
- Is your writing organized?
- Are the different parts and topics of your writing grouped in paragraphs?
- Does every sentence in the paragraph fit together?
- Would your writing make sense to a reader?
Mark places that need to be revised, and focus on those parts today.
