READING
As you read, write down tricky words in the book. Use these strategies to figure the words out.
WRITING
Great authors tell exactly what the characters are feeling. Go back and add more details to your characters so far.
MATH
Complete 1-2 lessons in DreamBox and today's problem:
There are 20 pencils in the package. Jenn sharpens 3 of them. How many are unsharpened? Is this amount even or odd? How do you know?
(Examples:
3 shoes is an odd number
4 shoes is an even number
MOVEMENT
Be sure to take breaks to move your body during the day. You can do activities from the BSD Brainboost Page.

Think of a time when you were very responsible. What could you do today to be responsible?
Watch the Pixar short film Pip.
How did this film make you feel? What do you think the message or theme of this story is? What did the character(s) learn? Draw, write, or act out your own story that is similar.
Play charades with someone else. Try to act out something and see if they can guess the word you are thinking of.
Draw a picture that shows how your favorite song makes you feel.
Use materials that you have at home to build a device that can send a message using sound.
Create a secret coded message for a partner to figure out.
Draw a picture of yourself and other members of your family.
