BSD Unveils new Versatrans My Stop™ app to track your child's school bus

BSD upgrades My Stop™ app for multi-student families

The Beaverton School District's Transportation Department has upgraded the My Stop™ bus information app to allow easier access for parents and guardians with multiple students.

Available for both iOS and Android, My Stop™ gives you the ability to know exactly where your child's bus is on the route. The app pinpoints the bus's location on a map, as well as provides the estimated time of arrival to a specific student's bus stop. The app uses the District's GPS system. The location is updated every five seconds and the estimated time of arrival is recalculated due to traffic delays.

My Stop™ requires very little setup, especially for parents and guardians. Usernames are tied to specific students. All a parent needs to do is log in using the student's ID # as the username and the student's birthdate as the password.

New and Improved

In a one-student household, My Stop™ will zoom directly to that child's bus. In a household with multiple students, you can log in with one student's ID # and password. A drop-down box will now reveal all other students in the family who ride the bus. Tap on the student's name to see that student's bus information. Previously, parents and guardians had to log in and out for each individual student.

Please note, the app has defined route windows and will not work for early release days or snow routes. If you have questions, please see the FAQ on the Beaverton School District's Transportation webpage.

The District has been testing the app for several weeks and it is now available for free for parents/guardians and students.
