warriors of excellence
The Warriors of Excellence Award was created by Aloha High School's National Honor Society in 2014. The award is granted annually to an alumnus who exhibits the four pillars of the National Honor Society. The alumnus chosen has attained notable professional achievement through commendable leadership. He or she has gained knowledge through their unique experience and scholarship. With their initiative, he or she has performed outstanding service to the community. We acknowledge his or her success gained through ambition and character. These traits allowed the recognized alumnus to inspire current and future students at Aloha High School to be lifelong learners whose actions make a meaningful difference to others.
The recipients of this award thus far are a diverse group: Angela Snow (1977) is an executive at Nike, Sarah Mensah (1982) is the vice president of Brand Jordan, and Major Chris Distifeno (1992) and Captain Chris Montoya (1992) have both served in the United States Army. We hope to continue to award this honor to other alumni of Aloha High School who have contributed to society in a variety of meaningful ways.
National Honor Society invites members of the community to nominate Aloha High School graduates, living or deceased, who meet the above criteria.
Please print the Warrior of Excellence Nomination Form and return to Ms. Chris Sinner at the Aloha High School's Main Office, or scan and email to Christine_Sinner@beaverton.k12.or.us by May 1, 2017.
